Role overview
Perform physical and administrative warehouse duties supporting facility-wide logistics.
Support shipping and receiving, loading and unloading, material movement, preservation, packaging, and storage.

Receiving and inspection
- Safely unload incoming trucks using a forklift truck and other mechanical handling aids.
- Review advice notes and purchase orders, including required compliance certificates.
- Verify quantities and descriptions, record receipts in the ERP system, and report discrepancies or damaged items.
- Tag incoming goods, route items for inspection, distribute paperwork, and locate accepted inventory.
Warehouse organization and inventory
- Maintain stores and goods-in areas, equipment, tools, and consumables in a safe, clean, orderly condition.
- Organize locations, tag and preserve items, and periodically check stored goods.
- Track limited-life items, segregate damaged hold goods and dead stock, and control warehouse access.
- Perform inventory checks, cycle counts, adjustments, and other ERP inventory maintenance.
Picking, packing, and shipping
- Pick items accurately, check condition and shelf life, and report discrepancies to the order coordinator.
- Assemble cartons, pack materials, and construct wooden export crates for bespoke parts and rotors when required.
- Apply shipping and handling markings and protect items from damage or loss during transit.
- Use the ERP system to create shipment labels, address labels, customs documents, and shipment paperwork.
Role requirements
- Advanced understanding of receiving inspections and ERP data entry into tracking databases.
- Ability to operate a forklift truck and other mechanical handling aids.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and adapt to other assigned duties.
- Ability to accurately process purchase orders, receiving documentation, inventory, packaging, and shipping requirements.
