Purpose of the Job
Collect, develop, analyze, coordinate, direct, recommend, and present financial analysis results to financial management, operations management, and senior executives.
Base Location and Work Schedule
- This is a full-time permanent position based in KEZAD Free Zone in Abu Dhabi.
- The hybrid schedule is three office days and two work-from-home days, Monday through Friday.
Financial Reporting and Planning
- Provide accurate, consistent, and timely financial data reporting according to regional and corporate schedules.
- Own monthly outlooks, quarterly forecasts, and annual plans, including preparation and consolidation of financial information.
- Develop and maintain financial models for outlooks, forecasts, and annual plans.
- Perform variance analysis of actual results and forecast projections against defined comparators.
Financial Management
- Advise the Commercial Financial Manager on significant financial matters and analyze expenses, forecasts, and trends.
- Report information that supports actions to improve operating results.
- Calculate annual absorption and burden rates.
- Assist with capital plans and forecasts and administer capital spend requests.
- Prepare capital expenditure models and oversee capital spending reviews against approved assumptions.
- Complete other ad hoc analyses as required.
Background and Experience
- Professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Experience with management accounting practices and strong forecasting and planning skills covering the full P&L.
- Strong analytical skills and Excel knowledge.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in a multinational work environment.
- Experience with percentage of completion revenue recognition and absorption costing is preferred.
Communication Skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
