Financial Analyst

Purpose of the Job

Financial Reporting and Planning

• Provide accurate, consistent, and timely financial data reporting according to regional and corporate schedules.
• Own monthly outlooks, quarterly forecasts, and annual plans, including preparation and consolidation of financial information.
• Develop and maintain financial models for outlooks, forecasts, and annual plans.
• Complete variance analysis of actual results and forecast projections against defined comparators.

Financial and Operating Analysis

• Advise the Commercial Financial Manager on significant financial matters.
• Analyze expenses, forecasts, and trends and contribute to spend management actions.
• Report information to support actions that enhance operating results.
• Calculate annual absorption and burden rates and perform ad hoc analysis as required.

Capital Planning

• Assist in preparing capital plans and forecasts and administer capital spend requests.
• Prepare financial models supporting capital expenditure.
• Oversee capital spending reviews against assumptions in the supporting justification.

Background and Experience

• Professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience with management accounting practices and strong full-P&L forecasting and planning skills.
• Strong analytical skills and Excel knowledge.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and financial explanation skills.
• Four to six years of relevant experience in a multinational work environment.
• Percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and absorption costing experience is preferred.

Base Location and Work Schedule

• Full-time permanent position based in KEZAD Free Zone in Abu Dhabi.
• Hybrid schedule with three office days and two work-from-home days, Monday through Friday.
