Role Overview
Serve food and beverages to guests in the assigned outlet or bar.
Provide courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service aligned with hotel standards and Kempinski values.
The role is in the Food & Beverage department in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, products, and all assigned food and beverage items.
- Present menus and explain portions, ingredients, and potential food allergies.
- Upsell assigned items, offer alternatives, take accurate orders, and communicate order details to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks, arrange table settings, maintain cleanliness, and collect bill payments.
- Monitor supplies and equipment, reduce spoilage and waste, and complete opening and closing procedures.
- Handle guest enquiries and complaints courteously, report issues to supervisors, and ensure follow-up.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in an international luxury five-star hotel is preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills.
