Role Overview
Serve food and beverages to guests in the assigned outlet.
Provide courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service consistent with hotel standards.
Support sales and maximize guest satisfaction.
Guest Service
- Present menus and explain portions, ingredients, potential food allergies, and available alternatives.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback courteously and efficiently.
- Report complaints immediately to supervisors and ensure guest follow-up.
Orders and Payments
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS ordering software, order slips, or memorization.
- Communicate order details to kitchen staff and serve food and beverage orders.
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
- Upsell assigned department items and offer alternatives.
Outlet Operations
- Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
- Monitor operating supplies and equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage.
- Keep the workplace and surrounding area clean and organized.
- Perform established opening and closing procedures.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of one to two years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in an international luxury five-star hotel is preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills are desired.
