- Continuously explore the market to source suitable trucks based on customer needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers, transport companies, and brokers
- Negotiate competitive freight rates while ensuring service quality
- Arrange various equipment and truck types (Flatbed, Lowbed, Reefer, etc.)
- Coordinate with internal teams to confirm truck requirements and availability
- Provide timely updates on scheduling and truck movements
- Maintain daily tracking and reporting of transportation activities
- Act as the main point of contact for drivers and address issues during transit
- Handle logistics challenges related to cross border shipments
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, documentation, and clearance procedures
- Provide drivers with complete shipment details, documents, and handling instructions
- Maintain accurate records of truck details, drivers, and freight rates in company systems
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in operations within a freight forwarding company
- Proven experience in arranging outside trucks and managing drivers
- Strong network of drivers, brokers, and transport companies
- In depth knowledge of truck types, loading capacities, and special permits
- Solid understanding of free zone and cross border clearance procedures
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
- Valid UAE Driving License
- Languages: English, Hindi & Urdu

Position Overview
- Transport Assistant – Operations at ADSOMSC
Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers, transport companies, and brokers.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates while ensuring service quality.
- Arrange various equipment and truck types (Flatbed, Lowbed, Reefer, Curtain sided, Car carriers, Pickups, Cranes, Forklifts, etc.).
- Coordinate with internal teams to confirm truck requirements and availability.
- Provide timely updates on scheduling and truck movements.
- Maintain daily tracking and reporting of transportation activities.
- Act as the main point of contact for drivers.
- Address issues during transit and provide immediate solutions.
- Ensure smooth communication between drivers and operations team.
- Handle logistics challenges related to cross border shipments.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, documentation, and clearance procedures.
Requirements (Mandatory)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in operations within a freight forwarding company.
- Proven experience in arranging outside trucks and managing drivers.
- Strong network of drivers, brokers, and transport companies.
- In depth knowledge of truck types, loading capacities, and special permits.
- Solid understanding of free zone and cross border clearance procedures.
