The Trainee Engineer develops the skills, knowledge, and competencies needed to progress from ATSEP NDP Trainee to ATSEP Engineer.

Role Overview
The Trainee Engineer develops the skills, knowledge, and competencies needed to progress from ATSEP NDP Trainee to ATSEP Engineer.
The future Engineer role maintains the availability and integrity of assigned aviation communications, navigation, surveillance, or ATM systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Develop the technical competencies required for progression to ATSEP Engineer.
- Complete training phases one and two with minimum delay.
- Train across four phases aligned with ICAO competency-based training and assessment guidance.
Knowledge and Experience
- Previous experience is not expected, but applicants should be interested in aviation and communications, navigation, and surveillance radar systems.
- Basic technical knowledge of communications, navigation, radar, ATM, or airport systems is advantageous.
- A valid UAE driving licence is required.
- Applicants must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematic diagrams.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office, communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and teamwork are required.
