Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Technical Manager for a major, high-profile building project in Abu Dhabi.
The role leads technical and design coordination and interfaces with design, construction, consultant, and project management teams.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technical and design coordination activities.
- Act as the key interface among design, construction, consultant, and project management teams.
- Manage RFIs, technical queries, IFC drawings, technical submittals, and design coordination.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
- Use or manage BIM and Common Data Environment platforms.
Required Experience
- 15–20 years of overall experience in construction or building projects.
- Strong experience with a main contractor on major projects.
- Experience in Technical Management, Design Management, or Engineering Management.
- Strong knowledge of Design and Build projects and construction-stage technical coordination.
- At least 10 years with technical coordination, RFIs, and technical queries.
- At least 10 years with IFC drawings and design.
- At least 10 years as a Technical, Engineering, or Design Manager.
- At least 10 years using or managing BIM and Common Data Environment platforms.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
Preferred Experience
- Experience on large, complex, and fast-track building projects is preferred.
- Middle East experience is an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 25,000–35,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi.
