Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer – Mechanical for hotel and hospitality projects.
The role focuses on mechanical MEP QA/QC activities and compliance with project quality standards and MEP codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage QA/QC activities for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting works.
- Conduct site and material inspections according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and manage ITPs, MIRs, WIRs/IRs, NCRs, method statements, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
- Monitor testing and commissioning, pressure testing, flushing, snagging, and handover.
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards and MEP codes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8–12+ years of Mechanical QA/QC experience.
- Hotel or hospitality project experience is mandatory.
- Strong background with an MEP contracting company.
- UAE or GCC experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
- At least 8 years of QA/QC experience and 6 years of UAE experience are required.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 15,000–16,000 per month.
