MEP - DIRECTOR

We are looking for an experienced MEP Director – Mechanical to lead and manage the mechanical MEP function for large-scale construction projects in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with major MEP projects valued above AED 250 million, with proven responsibility for project delivery, commercial performance, technical coordination, manpower, subcontractors, consultants, and client relationships.

• Lead the overall Mechanical MEP division/project delivery from pre-construction through completion and handover.
• Manage large-scale MEP projects with project values of AED 250 million or above.
• Provide strategic and technical leadership for HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, drainage, firefighting and other mechanical systems.
• Review project scope, specifications, drawings, design requirements and contractual obligations.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to approved programme, budget, quality and HSE requirements.
• Lead project planning, resource allocation, manpower planning and productivity improvement.
• Manage and coordinate with consultants, clients, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee design coordination, shop drawings, material approvals, technical submissions and RFIs.
• Monitor project commercial performance, variations, claims, procurement and cost control in coordination with commercial teams.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of major mechanical equipment and materials.
• Resolve technical, commercial and execution issues at senior management level.
• Monitor progress against project milestones and implement recovery plans where required.
• Lead multiple project teams and senior MEP managers/engineers.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, authority requirements, international standards and project specifications.
• Drive quality assurance, commissioning, testing and final handover of mechanical systems.
• Develop strong relationships with key clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Provide regular project performance reports to senior management.
• Mentor and develop the mechanical/MEP management team.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 18–25+ years of overall MEP/mechanical construction experience.
• Strong UAE/Dubai construction experience.
• Proven experience in MEP contracting/main contractor environment.
• Must have managed large projects valued at AED 250 million+.
• Strong mechanical MEP background, particularly HVAC.
• Experience managing senior MEP teams and multiple disciplines.
• Strong client and consultant management experience.
• Strong understanding of project commercial, planning, procurement and execution activities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with major commercial, residential, hospitality, mixed-use, infrastructure or other large-scale projects is preferred.

Pay: AED35,000.00 - AED40,000.00 per month
