About the Role
GRG is seeking a proactive Supply Chain & Imports Coordinator.
The role coordinates end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, inventory, vendor management, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate supply chain operations across procurement, logistics, and distribution for food and non-food categories.
- Work with the 3PL partner on inbound and outbound operations, customs clearance, and on-time delivery to stores.
- Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor documentation under company procurement policies.
- Monitor demand forecasts and support inventory planning and replenishment.
- Coordinate with vendors on deliveries, price updates, and service issue resolution.
- Conduct warehouse and inventory audits and ensure FIFO/FEFO process compliance.
- Prepare supply chain reports and KPI dashboards and highlight management variances.
- Support Saudi import compliance involving FASAH, SFDA, and SABER processes.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Marketing stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in supply chain, imports, logistics, inventory, or warehouse coordination.
- Experience in food, beverage, FMCG, consumer goods, food distribution, or a related sector.
- Knowledge of Dubai Municipality Portal [IRS] and Saudi import regulations, SFDA, and SABER processes is advantageous.
- Strong experience coordinating with 3PLs and freight forwarders.
- Proficiency in MS Dynamics, SAP, Micros Fidelio, or an equivalent ERP system.
- Advanced Excel skills and clear written and verbal English communication.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work across cultures and functions.
- Willingness and ability to travel to Saudi Arabia when required.
Performance Measures
Measures include on-time, in-full delivery and import-clearance lead time.
Measures include documentation accuracy, inventory accuracy, and stock-out and excess-stock levels.
Measures include expiry and write-off control, 3PL service-level performance, and demurrage, detention, and logistics-cost control.
