Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Stock Control Supervisor for its Warehouse Operations team.
The role focuses on inventory accuracy, stock-control supervision, cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and distribution center operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the stock control team and daily inventory activities.
- Conduct cycle counts, full inventory counts, audits, and stock reconciliations.
- Investigate discrepancies and monitor receiving, stocking, picking, transfers, adjustments, and distribution transactions.
- Maintain WMS/ERP inventory records and coordinate with warehouse, quality, purchasing, receiving, picking, and shipping teams.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, aging, slow-moving and obsolete stock, and apply FIFO principles.
- Implement inventory procedures, improve storage layouts and stock flow, and monitor inventory KPIs.
- Prepare inventory reports, support internal and external audits, and provide required documentation.
- Train, guide, and evaluate inventory employees and ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and warehouse procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in inventory control, stock management, or warehouse supervision.
