About the Role
- As a Banquet Sous Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for a wide range of events, from exclusive gatherings to large scale banquets, weddings, and corporate functions.
- Supporting the Banquet Chef, you will oversee the day to day operations of the banquet kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, consistency, and hygiene are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a talented culinary team, coordinating food preparation and service to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Manage inventory, cost control, team development, and maintain compliance with food safety standards.
About You
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within banquet, catering, or large volume hotel operations.
- Strong culinary background, excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, and proven ability to deliver outstanding quality while managing multiple events simultaneously.
- Hands on leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of motivating and developing a diverse team.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, kitchen operations, and cost management.
