About the Team

What You’ll Do

• Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies and contribute to the technical community.
• Engage with product management and business stakeholders to set priorities and deliver products.
• Design and build processes and technical solutions supporting strategic initiatives.
• Build, test, and deploy scalable solutions impacting Walmart associates worldwide.
• Guide and mentor team members in practices supporting quality, speed, innovation, and impact.
• Work with senior leadership and enterprise architects to define product roadmaps.

What You’ll Bring

• 2–6 years of experience as a full-stack developer building highly scalable applications and platforms.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Proficiency with Java, React, JavaScript, HTML, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud architecture, microservices architecture, and Docker or Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with event-based processing such as Kafka.
• Experience deploying solutions on Azure or GCP.
• Working knowledge of SQL or NoSQL and databases such as MySQL or MongoDB.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps is an advantage.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit.
• Strong hands-on development and technical prototyping skills.
• Ability to balance long-term design goals with short-term implications.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, facilitation, consensus-building, influencing, and persuasion skills.
