Senior, Software Engineer  (Android & iPhone Native App Developer)

Role overview

What you will do

• Architect and develop Android applications using Kotlin or Java and contemporary UI architecture patterns.
• Build responsive interfaces with Jetpack Compose and advanced Android UI frameworks.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services through REST APIs and microservice architectures.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and responsiveness across Android device configurations.
• Establish JUnit unit testing and Espresso UI testing protocols.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams on user-focused features.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
• Apply clean architecture, modularization, and MVVM practices.
• Optimize performance and resolve issues with Android debugging and profiling tools.
• Manage releases through CI/CD pipelines and Google Play Store deployment protocols.

What you will bring

• 5+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin or Java.
• Strong experience with Android Jetpack components, including ViewModel, LiveData, and Navigation.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, REST APIs, JSON, backend integrations, JUnit, and Espresso.
• Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization, and scalable mobile architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant computer science, engineering, or information systems field plus 3 years of software engineering experience, or 5 years of software engineering experience.

Preferred qualifications

• A master's degree and experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects are preferred.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices is preferred.
• Cisco certification is listed as a preferred qualification.
