Team and Business Context

The CRM Team in Marketing Tech supports Walmart International markets with integrations and solutions that use customer features, behaviors, and preferences.

The solutions direct customers to Walmart websites and apps and support customer experience and revenue growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Code, unit test, and build high-performance, scalable applications for millions of Walmart International customers.
  • Work in CRM technology and customer experience while remaining intellectually curious about relevant domains and technologies.
  • Apply Java, multithreading, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns to develop robust applications.
  • Remain hands-on and mentor strong individual technical talent.

Required Qualifications

  • Bring 3 to 6 years of total experience in backend engineering platform development.
  • Have experience with Java technologies, distributed systems, and large-scale application development and design.
  • Have hands-on experience with Kafka, Cassandra, and Cosmos.
  • Have experience with a containerization technology, microservices, and CI/CD.
  • Meet either the degree-plus-experience option or the four-years-of-software-engineering-experience option.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Spark is an advantage.
  • A master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related area is preferred.
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices is valued.

  • The role is based in the Bangalore office for daily work, with flexibility for associates to manage personal lives.
