Role overview
Build high-performance and scalable applications serving millions of Walmart International customers.
Work across supply chain management, customer experience, and customer analytics domains.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, build, test, and deploy solutions at scale.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across geographies and product and business stakeholders.
- Research open-source tools and conduct proofs of concept or pilots.
- Deploy and monitor products on cloud platforms.
- Implement monitoring processes to ensure applications meet SLAs.
- Mentor technical talent and contribute to the technology community.
Required qualifications
- 6–10 years of web-based application development experience.
- Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- End-to-end full-stack development experience using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, RESTful services, APIs, and related frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of related experience, or 5 years of related software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on technical background and ability to mentor technical talent.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
