Site Engineer - Civil (Senior&Junior)

About the Job

Site Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and ensure construction works follow approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, surveyors, QA/QC inspectors, and other site teams.
• Monitor foundation, piling, reinforced concrete, structural, and related civil construction activities.
• Review construction drawings and ensure work follows approved details.

Progress and Documentation

• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and daily construction progress.
• Prepare inspection requests, daily reports, progress updates, and site documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants and project teams for inspections, approvals, and technical requirements.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with relevant teams to support timely resolution.

Quality and Safety

• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor workmanship and compliance with approved quality standards and specifications.
• Ensure site activities comply with HSE requirements and project safety procedures.
• Support measurement, quantity verification, and site records where required.

Level-Specific Scope

• Senior Site Engineers coordinate overall site activities, provide technical guidance, and monitor subcontractor performance.
• Junior Site Engineers support senior engineers with daily supervision, inspections, reporting, and site coordination.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Three to eight or more years of relevant construction experience are required, depending on the position level.
• Hands-on site supervision and civil construction experience are required.
• Candidates must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, QA/QC teams, surveyors, and site personnel is required.

Technical Requirements

• Knowledge of construction methods, site procedures, quality requirements, and HSE standards is required.
• Experience in site inspections, progress monitoring, daily reporting, and construction documentation is required.
• Candidates must be able to monitor manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and construction progress.
• Foundation, piling, reinforced concrete, structural, or general civil works experience is preferred.
• Building, infrastructure, or large-scale construction project experience is preferred.

Location and Work Type

• This is a full-time role based in Dubai, UAE.
• The work supports major building, infrastructure, and large-scale construction projects at site.
