The employer is seeking an experienced HSE Officer – Safety to support health, safety, and environmental requirements across building, infrastructure, and large-scale construction projects in Dubai.
The role monitors day-to-day site safety activities and ensures HSE policies, procedures, and project requirements are implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor site HSE policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
- Prepare and review risk assessments, JSA/JHA, RAMS, and PTW documentation.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE awareness sessions.
- Monitor PPE compliance and high-risk construction activities.
- Report, investigate, and document accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, observations, and safety documentation.
- Coordinate HSE matters with site teams, subcontractors, supervisors, and project stakeholders.
- Support emergency preparedness, safety drills, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, project requirements, and applicable safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in HSE, occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
- Three to five years of relevant HSE or safety experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in UAE or GCC construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or an equivalent HSE certification is preferred.
- Experience with rail, airport, hangar, or large-scale infrastructure projects is advantageous.
- Knowledge of risk assessments, JSA/JHA, RAMS, PTW, incident reporting, and site safety procedures is required.
- Strong understanding of PPE requirements, high-risk activities, and construction safety practices is required.
- Good communication, reporting, coordination, observation, and problem-solving skills are required.

- This is a full-time role based in Dubai, UAE.
- The role supports major building, infrastructure, and large-scale construction projects.
