Role Description
SDV Consulting Engineers is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi.
The role covers structural analysis, design, documentation, authority compliance, and solutions for site challenges.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and design RCC and steel structures using STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, PROKON, and IDEA StatiCa.
- Prepare design calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.
- Provide structural solutions to site challenges and comply with project and authority requirements.
- Manage projects from concept and detailed design through Abu Dhabi authority approvals and construction support.
- Review contractor civil and structural shop drawings and calculations against project design requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, and SAFE is mandatory.
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in steel industrial structures.
- At least 12 years of experience in the analysis, design, and review of RCC and steel structures.
- Consultancy experience with both steel and concrete design.
- Experience with steel and industrial projects is mandatory.
- The candidate must currently be in the UAE.
Preferred Qualifications
- UAE experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in Abu Dhabi is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of international codes and standards such as ACI, ASCE, and ADIBC is expected.
