Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Planning Engineer role located in Abu Dhabi.
The role involves creating and managing project plans, monitoring progress, maintaining schedules, and implementing project controls.
The position also includes data analysis and project communication to align goals with timelines and resources.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor progress.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with graphs and critical path analysis.
- Identify delays, deviations, and risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and validate schedule compliance.
- Support delay analysis, claims assessment, and evaluation of variations.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to ensure timely communication and coordination.
- Maintain accurate records for project audits and closeout.
- Perform data analysis and communicate updates to align project goals with timelines and resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Well versed in Primavera P6.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction.
- Minimum five years of experience in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working in an engineering consultancy.
- A UAE driving license is required.
- The candidate must currently be in the UAE.
- Experience with mega projects is highly preferred.
Workplace
- The role is full-time and on-site in Abu Dhabi.
- Site visits are required to verify construction progress and schedule compliance.
