Role Summary
Join the Engineering Consultancy team as a Mechanical Engineer for building projects in Abu Dhabi.
Supervise mechanical works and ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and UAE authority requirements.
Site Supervision and Technical Review
- Supervise mechanical works on site for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and other contractor technical documents.
- Inspect mechanical works, verify workmanship and materials, identify non-conformances, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Coordination and Reporting
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, clients, and relevant authorities to resolve technical and construction issues.
- Monitor construction progress and prepare inspection reports, site observations, and progress updates.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical support during project execution.
- Report to the Site Resident Engineer and perform assigned engineering, supervision, inspection, and coordination duties.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in MEP construction and site supervision.
- Proven experience in industrial and steel structure related projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and drainage, firefighting systems, and external utility services.
- Good knowledge of UAE codes, standards, ADCD, TAQA, and applicable Abu Dhabi authority requirements.
- Experience reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
- Valid UAE driving license.

- Excellent communication, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
- Mechanical works must comply with project quality plans, safety requirements, approved procedures, and authority regulations.
