Role Overview
The role oversees consultancy supervision services and project performance across assigned construction and industrial projects.
The position is responsible for project planning, execution, quality, budget, stakeholder coordination, and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Oversee consultancy supervision services across assigned projects.
- Ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality project completion.
- Lead planning, scheduling, execution, progress meetings, document control, and administrative processes.
- Manage risks and issues and coordinate resolution activities.
- Interface with clients, contractors, consultants, utility providers, asset owners, end-users, and government authorities.
- Evaluate contractor changes, claims, and contractual issues and lead negotiations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- At least 15 years of project supervision and execution experience, including 10 years as a Resident Engineer or Project Manager.
- Experience overseeing at least two construction projects in the UAE.
- Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera.
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, decision-making, and English communication skills.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi regulations, authority requirements, and local construction standards is mandatory.
- Current UAE location is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP and PQP certifications are advantageous.
- Arabic fluency is a plus.
- Experience with steel and industrial projects is highly preferred.
