Company Description
SDV Consulting Engineers provides engineering, project management, and project development services across major engineering disciplines.
The company delivers FEED, EPCM, PMC, commissioning, and advisory services for industrial facilities, including manufacturing, processing, energy, hydrogen, cold storage, and specialty facilities.
Role Description
- Conduct and attend site quality inspections, including surveillance, witness points, hold points, and quality audits.
- Review quality documents, including quality plans, ITPs, test reports, prequalification documents, testing and commissioning plans, and handover documents.
- Participate in inspection tests to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Support the project team in maintaining quality control records and reports.
- Report directly to the Construction Supervisor regarding site inspections, quality issues, and progress updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- At least 5 years of construction experience, including at least 3 years in a Civil Site Inspector role in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and construction standards.
- Experience with quality documentation and inspection processes.
- Experience in civil inspection of steel structural or industrial buildings is highly preferred.
- Experience working in an engineering consultancy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with UAE regulations and project requirements.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
