Company Description
SDV Consulting Engineers provides engineering, project management, project development, FEED, EPCM, PMC, commissioning, and advisory services.
The company serves industrial sectors including manufacturing and processing, energy, hydrogen plants, cold stores, and specialty facilities.
Responsibilities
- Review shop drawings, calculations, material submittals, contractor prequalification submissions, and other construction submittals.
- Monitor execution of the works and maintain complete records.
- Perform site inspections, sampling, and materials testing for compliance with contract specifications.
- Review and comment on contractor method statements and technical queries.
- Carry out final inspections for completion certification and handover.
- Inspect onsite and offsite materials and organize field and laboratory tests.
- Ensure statutory NOCs, permits, and design approvals are available onsite.
- Process daily works inspection requests and materials inspection requests.
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure quality control procedures are used and improved.
- Ensure received materials meet specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain records, back-charge procedures, progress reports, and related documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with an attested degree certificate is required.
- An equivalency certificate is highly preferred.
- Five to ten years of experience in industrial projects is required.
- ADM registration is preferred.
- TAQA approval is advantageous.
- The role requires management and coordination of a specialized activity, discipline, or moderately sized and complex team.
- A proactive approach to resolving issues is required.
- Excellent written and spoken English is required.
- The candidate must currently be in the UAE.
