Role Description
Full-time, on-site Planning Engineer role located in Abu Dhabi.
The role manages project plans, monitors progress, supports schedule adherence and project controls, performs data analysis, and communicates project updates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor progress and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with graphs and critical path analysis.
- Identify delays, deviations, and risks and recommend corrective actions to clients and management.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and validate schedule compliance.
- Support delay analysis, claims assessment, and evaluation of variations.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and contractors to support timely communication and effective coordination.
- Maintain schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for audits and project closeout.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Well versed in Primavera P6.
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience, including at least five years in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working in an engineering consultancy.
- Candidates must currently be in the UAE.
- A UAE driving license is required.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience with mega projects is highly preferred.
