Role Overview
Lead and manage the delivery of hyperscale data center projects from inception through completion.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery and ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Direct project teams, consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors.
- Manage scope, programme, budget, resources, risks, and quality throughout the lifecycle.
- Oversee design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Manage client, consultant, contractor, and stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor programmes, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead progress meetings and provide reports to senior management and the client.
- Review technical submissions, method statements, and inspection and test plans.
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant mechanical engineering and project management experience.
- Proven data center project experience is required.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Capability to produce high-quality technical reports.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English with strong technical writing competency.
- Results-driven mindset with a collaborative approach.
