Position Overview

The Project Manager supports industrial construction projects and teams across the Gulf Coast and works toward client and internal objectives for safety, scope, budget, and schedule.

The role includes 30% travel and requires visits to client sites in Baytown, Beaumont, Mont Belvieu, and Friendswood.

Candidates must be within driving distance of Houston, Texas, or the listed client-site locations.

Project Delivery

  • Conduct periodic site visits and monitor construction progress under client safety programs.
  • Lead budgets, schedules, procurement, quality, and risk for multi-asset facility projects.
  • Manage HVAC asset assessments and replacements, roofing replacements, roadway assessments, mechanical work, and concrete work.
  • Coordinate projects across planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, costs, and estimates.

Safety and Program Management

  • Support construction and renovation projects and ensure staff implement safety requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare regional project reports, steward account-specific KPIs, and promote program improvements.
  • Train and mentor junior-level staff.
  • Build client relationships and identify opportunities for program improvements.

Procurement and Communications

  • Prepare scopes of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, quality controls, and risk identification.
  • Read and apply agreements, contracts, leases, project charters, work letters, drawings, surveys, and related documents.
  • Identify qualified project resources, conduct requests for proposals, complete bid analysis, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement communication plans through meetings, written reports, and meeting minutes.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or five years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least four years of experience in a project management role.
  • Five years of project management experience in real estate industrial construction is preferred.
  • Experience with industrial real estate projects involving MEP and HVAC is preferred.
  • Experience with strong safety programs is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
