Role Overview
Collaborate with the Finance Manager and team members to execute accounting tasks.
Own reporting on costs, productivity, margins, and expenditures for external clients and the organization.
Accounting and Reporting
- Record, verify, consolidate, and enter accounting transactions.
- Manage client invoicing and process accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, financial statements, and other reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, subsidiary accounts, fixed assets schedules, and bank statements.
Planning, Compliance, and Controls
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing and prepare financial and cash forecasts.
- Assist with VAT registrations and VAT filings.
- Assess internal controls and risk areas and perform budget variance analyses.
- Assist with budgets, cost analysis reports, payroll support, and audit activities.
- Maintain SOPs and regulatory requirements in the UAE, KSA, and applicable jurisdictions.
Experience and Education
- Degree qualification in accounting or finance.
- 5–10 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- At least 2 years in UAE or KSA corporate or professional services is preferred.
- Three years of operational, project management, and customer support experience are required.
- Advanced Excel, Microsoft Office, CRM, and financial reporting proficiency are required.
- UAE, Saudi Arabia, and wider GCC market knowledge is required.
