About the Role
ADSOMSC is seeking an experienced Sea Freight Coordinator to manage ocean freight operations including imports, exports, documentation, and customer coordination. The role requires 2+ years of sea freight coordination experience and strong knowledge of Dubai Customs procedures.

Responsibilities
- Promptly responding to shipping inquiries received through sales or overseas agents
- Liaise with internal teams (sales, operations, finance, management) for smooth workflow
- Proactively engage with clients to understand their shipping needs and offer customized solutions
- Initiate import jobs and coordinate with finance to generate job numbers
- Source competitive freight rates from shipping lines via email, calls, and portals
- Confirm bookings and share confirmations with clients
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Customs requirements (BOE, DPC, Gate Pass, etc.)
- Arrange Delivery Orders (DOs) and required government approvals
- Handle VCC issuance and customs inspection bookings
- Process Payment Vouchers (PVs) and coordinate deliveries with transport teams
- Coordinate export bookings based on cargo readiness and client requirements
- Liaise with shipping lines for documentation (BL, DG forms, load lists)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in working as a sea freight coordinator
- Strong knowledge of Dubai Customs procedures and shipping documentation
- Experience handling FCL, LCL, RORO, Breakbulk, and DG cargo
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and freight/logistics systems (e.g., Flotilla)
