Role Location and Reporting

• Work at the Oakridge Boutique in Vancouver, British Columbia.
• Report to the Operations Manager.

Role Overview

Customer Service and Administration

• Maintain client relationships in person and by phone by responding promptly and appropriately to queries.
• Provide customer service to clients, boutique management, colleagues, and head office.
• Assist on the shop floor by welcoming clients, presenting new collections, and escorting clients as appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, other boutiques, and head office.
• Prepare packaging, assist with gift wrapping, and accurately deliver messages to Fashion Advisors.
• Keep notices current and maintain confidentiality of company commercial activities and internal affairs.

Back-of-House and Supplies

• Assist with shipments, transfers, cycle counts, inventory consolidation, and other inventory management activities.
• Execute after-sales tasks, including sending sales items and repairs.
• Maintain inventory integrity and organize the secondary stockroom.
• Keep back-office areas clean and tidy and ensure cash-and-wrap stations are prepared and stocked.

Qualifications

• Successful experience of at least 1–3 years in retail operations and/or stock experience.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
• Customer experience mindset, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent English is required; French is a plus.
• Comfort working with different departments and teams in a fast-paced environment.

Contract and Compensation

• This is a full-time, temporary 12-month contract.
• The stated competitive base salary is $56,500 CAD annually.
