Context and Environment
This position is based in a CHANEL fashion boutique in The Galleria Mall, Abu Dhabi.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Cashier receives payments in compliance with company procedures and guarantees secure transactions.
Role Responsibilities
- Create a unique client experience throughout the cashiering process and collaborate with Fashion Advisors, Sales Managers, Operations, and Legal teams.
- Manage cashiering tasks on internal transaction systems and maintain client information files according to procedures.
- Reconcile client accounts and transactions accurately.
- Handle payments, refunds, exchanges, and point-of-sale operations through internal systems.
- Perform opening and closing cash procedures, deactivate RFID tags after sales, and provide end-of-day reports.
- Adhere to anti-money laundering procedures, conduct sanctions screening, and submit reports to the Legal team.
Key Competencies and Requirements
- Experience as a Cashier in the retail sector is required, preferably within a luxury environment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Attention to detail.
Expected Impact
Deliver an excellent experience for every CHANEL client in collaboration with Fashion Advisors.
Ensure accurate and timely cashiering, reconciliations, and reporting to support smooth boutique operations.
Uphold CHANEL procedures and compliance requirements.
