Role Overview
The role supports Turner & Townsend’s Scotland-based Energy & Natural Resources team across high-profile projects and programmes.
The position may operate within a wider risk management team or independently with support from experienced risk professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead risk professionals delivering risk management interventions across complex projects and programmes.
- Design and implement risk processes tailored to client needs and aligned with best practice.
- Improve risk and project controls processes, data quality, reporting, and benefits realisation.
- Act as the risk subject matter expert for a major project or programme.
- Establish Performance Measurement Baselines and support change control processes.
- Facilitate risk workshops and maintain project and programme risk registers.
- Drive mitigation action agreement, implementation, and tracking.
- Lead quantitative schedule and cost risk analysis and communicate outputs.
- Deliver training, coach clients and less experienced team members, and support team development.
Required Experience
- Extensive multi-project and multi-industry risk management experience is essential.
- Experience defining, improving, or implementing risk management approaches is essential.
