Serve food and beverages to guests in the assigned outlet while providing courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service.
The role supports guest satisfaction and sales in the hotel's Food and Beverage department.
Location and Department
- The position is based in a hotel food and beverage outlet in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- The work is performed in the assigned outlet and surrounding service areas.
Employment
- Full-time position.
- No salary or compensation cadence is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, products, and assigned food and beverage offerings.
- Explain menu items and perform upselling while offering alternatives.
- Monitor supplies and equipment and reduce spoilage and waste.
- Keep the workplace clean and organized and complete opening and closing procedures.
- Handle guest enquiries and report complaints or feedback to supervisors with follow-up.
- Operate the assigned POS system.
- Follow hotel policies on fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
- Assist with scheduled inventories.
Job Requirements
- Experience in a food and beverage service role.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- An additional language is an advantage.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients or vendors.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a professional, confidential, and ethical approach.
- Ability to identify and delegate tasks effectively.
