- Proficiency in English; additional regional language is an asset
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

Regional Marketing Manager EEMENA
- This position works out of our UAE location in the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Diseases.
What You'll Do
- Development of local commercial, marketing and promotional plans.
- Develop regional marketing plans in alignment with the regional and global plans.
- Deliver and regularly track the execution of the marketing initiatives on the plan.
- Manage local promotional plans (including exhibition, symposia, marketing collateral, sales tools, digital and PR content).
- Participate in product launch projects: develop business & launch plans in close collaboration with the EEMENA Launch excellence Manager.
- Manage the marketing expenses budget, according to the annual marketing plan.
- Customer Centricity and deep understanding of regional markets.
- Customer segments mapping (size, patient pathway, reimbursement, stakeholders, value proposition, opportunity assessment).
- Customer focus group meetings and surveys.
- Product features/benefits, product utilization and customer insights.
- Competitor intelligence.
- Market dynamics (growth/decline key drivers, PESTLE analysis).
Routine Participation
- Execute and track product launch plans in close collaboration with the Launch Excellence Manager EMEA.
- Provide input and align with Region/BU (customer segmentation, value proposition, product positioning, competition, pricing).
- Roll out marketing plans and sales tactics at sales meetings.
- Execute, track and report progress of annual tactical plans.
- Track and monitor business figures and take actions to improve the business outcome.
- Support the local sales forces in the field to win key and strategic accounts.
- Collaborate with the commercial director and finance partner in the management of pricing.
- Collaborate with ID Sales Scientific Liaison and Medical Affairs.
- Conduct business analysis and monitor key performance indicators.
- Monitor training needs and collaborate with application specialist to deploy training.
- Collaboration with regional and global teams in the management of relationships with clinical experts and opinion leaders.
- Participation to ad hoc regional, special projects.
Requirements
- Acts ethically and professionally, representing the company values always.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office pack & other (SharePoint, CRM, etc.).

- Strong focus in understanding and extracting customer value.
- Balanced mix of strategic and tactical focus.

- High capacity for fast learning.

- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time (nationally and internationally).
- Customer engagement, in field support, 30% of the time.
- Proven minimum 7 years marketing experience in diagnostics arena, or other healthcare area.
- Proven knowledge of the healthcare system in the regional & local markets.
