Role Overview
Manage quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance across catering operations.
Ensure safe food handling, hygienic conditions, regulatory compliance, and continuous QHSE improvement.
QHSE and Food Safety
- Implement and monitor QHSE policies and procedures in compliance with UAE regulations, HACCP, and company standards.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene requirements under relevant legal and ADFCA authorities.
- Conduct inspections of kitchens, dining areas, and accommodation facilities.
- Monitor HACCP implementation, temperature controls, food storage, preparation, and distribution.
Risk, Incidents, and Operations
- Carry out risk assessments and identify health, safety, and environmental hazards.
- Investigate food-related complaints, incidents, accidents, and near misses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain pest control, waste management, cleaning, and sanitation programs.
- Maintain accurate QHSE documentation, reports, and records for audits and inspections.
- Coordinate government inspectors and clients during audits and site visits.
Training and Culture
- Deliver QHSE and food hygiene training to staff, including personal hygiene and safe work practices.
- Promote a strong QHSE culture and continuous improvement across operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience; freshers may also apply.
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO standards, and local food safety and labour regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and training skills.
- HACCP and food safety certifications are preferred.
- Catering background and industry experience are preferred or advantageous.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
