Role Overview
The Catering Supervisor is responsible for dining and front-of-house and back-of-house catering operations.
The role focuses on service quality, customer satisfaction, staff coordination, hygiene, and safety.
Requirements
- At least three years of work experience in industrial catering.
- Graduate qualification or specialized courses related to hotel or catering management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- The experience section specifies five years of catering, hotel, or food and beverage experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for dining operations.
- Coordinate daily front-of-house and back-of-house catering operations.
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
- Review product quality regularly and research new vendors.
- Prepare duty rosters for dining staff and team members.
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
- Maintain a healthy, hygienic, and clean dining atmosphere.
- Coordinate food production and customer service to meet service standards through best practices and on-the-job training.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
