Position
The employer is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Executive Chef to lead and manage culinary operations across industrial catering projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee food production, menu planning, recipe standardization, quality assurance, food cost control, and kitchen operations.
- Develop standardized recipes and production procedures and optimize kitchen productivity.
- Monitor food quality and presentation and drive continuous culinary improvement across multiple sites.
- Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, QHSE, and Stores on production planning, hygiene, inventory utilization, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
- Mentor kitchen teams, develop culinary talent, introduce innovative menu concepts, and maintain consistency across catering operations.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food Production, or a related discipline.
- Professional culinary certifications and HACCP or Food Safety certifications are advantageous.
Experience
- At least 8 years of progressive culinary experience, including at least 3 years as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
- Experience in large-scale industrial catering, remote camps, oil and gas, military, healthcare, or institutional catering environments.
- Experience managing high-volume food production of more than 5,000 meals per day, menu engineering, food cost management, multinational cuisine, kitchen operations, and large culinary teams.
Pay
- The stated pay range is AED 5,000 to AED 10,000 per month.
Work Location
- The role is performed in person.
