Project Manager

Role Overview

Project Delivery

• Review requirements, scope, drawings, specifications, and commercial parameters before mobilisation.
• Develop project programmes, budgets, procurement schedules, and resource plans.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, designers, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Monitor progress, risks, delays, costs, and technical challenges.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates to management and clients.

Commercial Management

• Own cost control, variations, valuations, subcontractor payments, and commercial performance.
• Support tenders, site visits, and client discussions with technical and commercial input.
• Identify value engineering opportunities while protecting quality, programme, and client requirements.

Construction and Handover

• Coordinate procurement of materials, finishes, equipment, and specialist subcontractors.
• Ensure drawings, materials, samples, and finishes are reviewed and approved.
• Maintain workmanship and quality standards throughout execution.
• Coordinate inspections, snagging, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
• Ensure works comply with UAE regulations, HSE requirements, approved drawings, and industry standards.

Relationships and Business Development

• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers in the UAE fit-out market.
• Manage client expectations and resolve project issues quickly and commercially.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience with substantial UAE fit-out market experience.
• Experience managing commercial interior fit-out projects from tender or commercial stage through handover.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction and fit-out practices, authorities, and market standards.
• Solid knowledge of budgets, variations, procurement, subcontractors, programmes, project controls, and site coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills for managing site and project teams.
• High-end retail, showroom, hospitality, office, F&B, or other commercial interiors experience is highly desirable.
• UAE driving licence is preferred.

Project Environment

• The role coordinates site teams, site activities, inspections, and client site visits for projects across Dubai.
