- Research, identify, and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery
- Build and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers and subcontractors
- Review and evaluate supplier quotations, proposals, and commercial offers
- Prepare detailed vendor comparison statements and coordinate approvals with Finance and Accounts
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and operations teams to understand technical requirements
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain an updated approved vendor database
- Manage day to day procurement activities, prepare and issue purchase orders
- Track purchase orders and follow up to ensure on time delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and raise procurement requests to prevent shortages or delays
- Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Preferably experience in landscaping, construction, engineering, or related industries
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and commercial evaluation skills
- Good understanding of budgeting, cost control, and procurement best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Experience with ERP or procurement software is an added advantage
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- UAE experience is preferred
- Immediate joiners will be given preference

Job Overview
- We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Procurement Officer / Purchaser to manage sourcing, supplier evaluation, purchasing activities, and procurement operations for landscaping, construction, and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities Vendor Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Research, identify, and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with approved suppliers and subcontractors.
- Review and evaluate supplier quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Prepare detailed vendor comparison statements and coordinate approvals with Finance and Accounts before final purchase decisions.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve optimal commercial value.
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and operations teams to understand technical requirements and ensure accurate procurement.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain an updated approved vendor database.
Key Responsibilities Procurement Operations
- Manage day to day procurement activities in line with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders accurately and ensure timely processing.
- Track purchase orders and follow up to ensure on time delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and raise procurement requests to prevent shortages or project delays.
- Ensure all purchased materials comply with approved specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with warehouse and site teams for proper receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Resolve procurement issues such as delays, shortages, damaged goods, or supplier discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including vendor details, quotations, contracts, purchase orders, and pricing data.
- Update procurement systems with order status, delivery schedules, and invoice tracking.
- Ensure timely submission of supplier documentation to Finance and Accounts for payment processing.
- Prepare procurement reports including cost summaries, savings analysis, and budget tracking updates.
- Monitor procurement KPIs and recommend improvements for cost efficiency and process optimization.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of all procurement related correspondence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Preferably experience in landscaping, construction, engineering, or related industries.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and commercial evaluation skills.
- Good understanding of budgeting, cost control, and procurement best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
