- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers
- Source competitive quotations and evaluate supplier proposals based on price, quality, delivery timelines, and technical compliance
- Prepare detailed quotation comparison sheets and supplier evaluation reports for management approval
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Coordinate with engineering, estimation, and project teams to ensure purchased materials meet approved specifications
- Maintain and update supplier databases, product information, and pricing records
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, and service

Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
- UAE experience in landscaping, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or related industries highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, landscaping supplies, irrigation products, and project procurement requirements
- Proven experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, purchase order management, and cost control
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is an advantage
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with ERP/procurement management systems is an advantage
- Good understanding of UAE supplier markets and procurement cycles

Role Overview
- We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Procurement Officer / Purchaser to manage procurement activities for landscaping, construction, irrigation, swimming pool, and related projects across the UAE.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, ensuring timely deliveries, and supporting project requirements through efficient and cost effective procurement practices.
- The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE supplier markets, construction materials, procurement processes, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities Vendor Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Source competitive quotations and evaluate supplier proposals based on price, quality, delivery timelines, and technical compliance.

- Manage daily procurement activities in accordance with company policies, project requirements, and approved budgets.

- Coordinate with project teams, site supervisors, and warehouse personnel for material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate procurement planning based on project requirements.
- Ensure all materials and equipment comply with approved specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Resolve procurement issues including delivery delays, shortages, damaged materials, and supplier disputes.
Key Responsibilities Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier files, purchase orders, quotations, and pricing history.
- Track purchase orders, delivery status, invoices, and payment processing requirements.
- Coordinate with Finance and Accounts teams for invoice verification and payment documentation.
- Prepare procurement reports including cost analysis, savings reports, supplier performance reports, and procurement summaries.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal compliance requirements.
- Monitor procurement performance indicators and recommend process improvements.
Key Responsibilities Cost Control & Commercial Support
- Support project budgeting and cost control activities through effective procurement planning.
- Identify cost saving opportunities through supplier negotiations, alternative sourcing, and bulk purchasing.
- Ensure procurement activities are aligned with approved project budgets and financial controls.
- Assist in evaluating material alternatives to improve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Support commercial teams with supplier pricing information and market updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
- UAE experience in landscaping, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, landscaping supplies, irrigation products, and project procurement requirements.
