Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing and procurement strategies to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
- Review and evaluate supplier quotations, proposals, and commercial terms.
- Prepare detailed vendor comparison reports and coordinate approvals with Finance and Accounts before finalizing purchases.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value for the company.
- Work closely with engineering, project, and operations teams to understand technical requirements and ensure accurate sourcing.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain an updated approved vendor database.
- Manage day to day procurement activities and purchasing processes in line with company procedures.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Track and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on time delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and raise procurement requests as required to avoid shortages or delays.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in landscaping, construction, or engineering industries
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and commercial evaluation skills
- Good understanding of budgeting, cost control, and procurement best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
- Experience with ERP or procurement software is an advantage
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external suppliers
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- UAE experience is preferred
- Immediate joiners will be given preference
