Responsibilities
- Welcome guests courteously and ensure prompt seating
- Address guests with correct titles and meet their requirements promptly
- Train team members to maintain service standards
- Promote and exceed LQA scores and COS for Food & Beverage
- Manage operations efficiently during all shifts
- Innovate ideas to increase profit, reduce costs, and encourage upselling
- Handle daily mail, guest reports, rosters, holiday forms, payroll, training, and P&L reports
- Maintain accurate documentation and accessible records
- Communicate with purchasing manager and maintain strong relations with the kitchen
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Conduct daily briefings and communicate important events
- Manage colleague appraisals and training (including Fire Safety, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 4 years' experience in an upscale 5* hotel/resort environment
- Strong F&B knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with high profile and diverse clientele
- Dynamic team player able to provide highest standard of service
- Excellent communication in English language
- Additional language highly regarded
