About the Role
One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai seeks a Pizza Sous Chef to oversee pizza production and assist the Chef de Cuisine. The role requires 2-3 years of pizza sous chef experience in a luxury hotel/resort, excellent communication skills, and a passion for culinary excellence.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire pizza making process
- Assist Chef de Cuisine in coordinating and supervising the assigned kitchen department
- Ensure all allocated areas are checked and ready as per departmental lists
- Ensure kitchen staff commence duty on time and wear correct uniform and comply with health regulations
- Practice daily on the job training and assist in monthly training sessions
- Ensure safe working conditions for all kitchen personnel
- Report and record maintenance requirements daily
- Check deliveries for quality, quantity, and price
- Ensure minimum wastage
- Ensure fast and efficient service to guests
- Handle guest complaints immediately and satisfactorily
- Bring creative ideas for new dishes and presentations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 3 years experience as Pizza Sous Chef in an upscale 5* hotel/resort environment
- Excellent personal and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and dynamic team player
- Excellent communication in English
- Additional language highly regarded

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 3 years experience as Pizza Sous Chef in an upscale 5* hotel/resort environment.
- Excellent personal and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and dynamic team player.
- Ability to provide highest standard of service.
- Excellent communication in English required; additional language highly regarded.
