The Network Engineer, Infrastructure & Disaster Recovery maintains and supports enterprise network infrastructure across primary, disaster-recovery, and approved cloud environments.

Network Infrastructure Administration
- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and data-centre network environments.
- Configure and support switches, routers, wireless infrastructure, and related network services.
- Maintain routing, switching, network segmentation, connectivity, and redundancy configurations.
Security and Connectivity
- Administer enterprise firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, remote-access VPNs, and secure-connectivity services.
- Maintain firewall rules, network objects, security zones, NAT, and segmentation controls.
- Support periodic firewall-rule and network-access reviews with Cybersecurity.
Monitoring and Hybrid Networks
- Monitor network availability, performance, traffic utilization, and capacity across network devices and connectivity services.
- Diagnose outages, latency, packet loss, congestion, routing instability, and wireless-connectivity issues.
- Maintain cloud and hybrid connectivity, including virtual networks, gateways, routing, security configurations, and private connectivity.
Resilience and Service Management
- Maintain recovery procedures, configuration backups, and technical runbooks for critical network services.
- Support recovery and restoration of switching, routing, WAN, internet, firewall, VPN, wireless, and hybrid services.
- Provide incident support, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement approved network changes through testing, validation, rollback, and change-management procedures.
Documentation and Coordination
- Maintain topology diagrams, device inventories, circuit records, IP-address information, and configuration documentation.
- Maintain operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and disaster-recovery runbooks.
- Coordinate incidents, maintenance, and technical support with internal teams, telecommunications providers, and technology vendors.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, telecommunications engineering, information systems, or a related field is required.
- A professional-level enterprise networking certification such as CCNP Enterprise or an equivalent current certification is required.
- At least five years of relevant enterprise network infrastructure, security, connectivity, high-availability, and disaster-recovery experience is required.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise LAN, WAN, data-centre, wireless, and SD-WAN networks using Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or equivalent platforms is required.
Technical Requirements
- Experience with routing, switching, VLANs, trunking, link aggregation, spanning tree, OSPF, BGP, redundancy, and QoS is required.
- Experience with SD-WAN, enterprise firewalls, NAT, IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, and secure connectivity is required.
- Experience with segmentation, microsegmentation, application delivery, load balancing, network monitoring, and diagnostic tools is required.
- Experience with Azure, ExpressRoute, AKS connectivity, container networking, Terraform, and Ansible is required.
