Role Overview
Lead technical management and delivery of mechanical MEP services across complex building projects.
Oversee mechanical and multidisciplinary coordination from concept design through project handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical and HVAC services across assigned projects and project stages.
- Review and approve mechanical design deliverables, calculations, specifications, schedules, drawings, and reports.
- Direct coordination across MEP, architecture, structural, and interior design disciplines.
- Lead BIM coordination and clash detection using Revit and Navisworks.
- Review construction-stage submissions, shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, and contractor proposals.
- Provide technical leadership during construction and resolve MEP-related site issues.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Drive technical reviews, quality assurance, value engineering, risk management, and delivery against project milestones.
- Provide mentoring and direction to mechanical and MEP engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized and accredited university.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience in Mechanical or MEP Engineering.
- Experience as an MEP Manager, Mechanical Manager, MEP Lead, or equivalent senior technical manager.
- Strong consultancy background delivering multidisciplinary building projects.
- Extensive UAE project experience and knowledge of local authority requirements and approval procedures.
- Expertise in HVAC and Mechanical Building Services Engineering.
- Knowledge of UAE authorities and standards including Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense, DDA, Trakhees, RTA, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and SMACNA.
