Lead Architect

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.
• Develop and review concepts, layouts, design proposals, drawings, details, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate structural, MEP, interior, landscape, and other consultants.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, authority requirements, codes, and applicable international standards.
• Manage authority submissions and support approval processes with UAE authorities.
• Resolve design issues, RFIs, and technical coordination challenges.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, coordination meetings, and technical discussions.
• Monitor deliverables, support construction-stage design intent, and guide architects and junior team members.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• At least 13 years of professional architectural experience.
• Strong experience on UAE projects, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
• Experience delivering projects from concept through construction documentation.
• High-end residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, or similar large-scale project experience is highly preferred.
• A portfolio should demonstrate architectural design, technical expertise, project delivery, and UAE project experience.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD and Revit proficiency are required.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, construction methods, materials, and technical documentation.
• SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite knowledge are advantageous.
• Experience with 3ds Max, Lumion, Enscape, or similar visualization tools is advantageous.
• Strong communication, presentation, coordination, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 25,000 to AED 35,000 per month.
