Role Overview

Site Supervision Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities, conduct inspections, and verify work against approved designs and consultant requirements.
• Review concrete, structural works, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, external works, roads, infrastructure, and related activities.
• Review contractor submissions, method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, inspection requests, and technical documentation.
• Monitor progress, delays, risks, quality issues, non-conformities, site observations, and NCRs, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, project managers, MEP, architectural, structural, and other disciplines.
• Attend meetings, maintain site records, support quantity and progress-claim reviews, and assist with testing, snagging, handover, and close-out.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 12 years of overall experience in civil construction or site supervision.
• At least 5 years of experience working in the UAE.
• Consultant or engineering consultancy experience in a site supervision capacity is mandatory.
• Strong experience with major civil construction projects, construction methods, materials, specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
• Understanding of UAE construction codes, standards, authority requirements, QA/QC procedures, inspections, NCRs, and project documentation.
• Strong coordination, reporting, communication, problem-solving, and independent site-working abilities.

Technical Scope

• Interpret civil, structural, architectural, and related construction drawings.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Monitor safety practices and report unsafe conditions or activities.
• Review as-built information and support snagging, rectification, testing, inspection, handover, and close-out activities.

Compensation

• Pay is listed as AED 15,000–AED 20,000 per month.

Workplace

• The role is performed on site and requires independent site supervision.
