Role Overview

The Lady in Red is Kempinski's residence ambassador, welcoming, meeting, and farewelling residents and guests.

The role supports the Residence Manager and communicates with residents and guests while providing the highest quality service standards.

The position is in Rooms Division, Front Office & Guest Services in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and support achievement of the residence's short-term and long-term goals under the Operations Manager.
  • Support the front desk and concierge to ensure smooth, prompt, and effective service.
  • Substitute for the Front Office Duty Manager in their absence.
  • Handle resident and guest comments and complaints and follow up on resolutions.
  • Ensure fire exits are free of obstacles under the Kempinski Health & Safety Policy.
  • Support and assist all departments.
  • Provide prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition to residents and guests and resolve related problems.
  • Inform and coordinate with operating departments on matters that may concern them.
  • Review arrival correspondence to understand resident and guest needs and follow up as required.
  • Maintain departmental standards of conduct, dress, uniforms, hygiene, appearance, and posture.
  • Keep residence information accurate and up to date and promote in-house sales and facilities.
  • Follow emergency procedures, inspect facilities and outside areas, coordinate with security, respond to requests, handle unresolved situations, and complete handovers.

Candidate Requirements

  • Eligible for a working permit in the country of hire.
  • Higher college or hotel management education.
  • Minimum two years of front-office supervisory experience.
  • Experience within a five-star property or residence is preferred.
  • Proven track record with good progression.
  • Mature and customer-focused.
  • Able to work and communicate in a multinational environment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Russian.
  • Any additional language is a plus.
