Position Overview

  • This position works out of our UAE location in the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Diseases.
  • As a Key Account Manager, you will manage strategic healthcare accounts and business partnerships, with a focus on revenue generation.
  • You will be responsible for driving market penetration, commercial growth, and customer engagement across Abbott Rapid Diagnostics’ portfolio within the assigned territory.

What You'll Do

  • Full accountability for revenue generation and the commercial objectives.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospect to execution.
  • Build and maintain strong long term partnerships with key stakeholders across hospitals, laboratories, governmental entities, procurement departments, and healthcare networks.
  • Collaborate closely with clinicians, laboratory leadership, emergency departments, infection control teams, and healthcare decision makers to improve patient pathways and diagnostic workflows.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools and sales analytics to identify opportunities, optimize account performance, and strengthen strategic planning.
  • Develop customer centric solutions, including integrated workflow offerings and value based diagnostic approaches.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of diagnostic sales experience within the UAE market. Kuwait market experience is an advantage.
  • Pharma and diagnostic mixed experience will be an edge.
  • Experience in Point of Care Testing, Infectious Diseases, or Laboratory Solutions is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue quotas.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, patient pathways, reimbursement environments, and tender processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills with the ability to influence key healthcare stakeholders.
